Troy, MI — Southeast Michigan suburbs in Oakland and Washtenaw counties dominated the Top 25 on a new list of the best places to live in Michigan.

Scientists analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other sources to compile the data company Niche’s list of the best places to live in Michigan.

Their analysis included data on crime, public schools, cost of living, job opportunities and local amenities.
