Several restaurants will have full or limited hours on Christmas Day. Reservations are recommended.
DETROIT, MI – If you’re not up to cooking for the family, or you have no plans for Christmas Day, there’s no need to miss out on a special holiday meal.
Open Table, the online reservation system, and other sources list several Metro Detroit restaurants that will be open on Christmas Day. Reservations are recommended.
Here’s a list, as of Monday, Dec. 21:
- Benihana, Dearborn, Farmington Hills and Troy: Open 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m. on Christmas Day
- Buca di Beppo in Livonia and Utica: Open at 11 a.m. on Christmas Day
- Cameron’s Steakhouse, Birmingham: Open from 2-9 p.m. on Christmas Day
- Giulio & Sons Restaurant at the Adoba hotel, Dearborn: Open from 6 a.m.-5 p.m. on Christmas Day
- Edison’s at Dearborn Inn: Open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for holiday brunch
- McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood, Troy: Open Christmas Day
- Mitchell’s Fish Market, Birmingham, Livonia and Rochester: Open 11 a.m.-9 p.m. on Christmas Day
- Morton’s the Steakhouse, Troy: Open on Christmas Day
- Rugby Grille at The Townsend Hotel, Birmingham: Open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (brunch) and 3 p.m.-midnight (Christmas dinner)
- Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Troy: Open Christmas Day
