On Thursday, November 19, 104.3 WOMC will host its third annual Radiothon to raise funds for children treated at Beaumont Children’s. A Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals event, the Radiothon will broadcast live from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Anchoring the production will be 104.3 WOMC personalities JoAnne Purtan, Jim Johnson, Beau Daniels and Aricka McCauly.
Each year, the CMN Radiothon highlights the stories of local patients and families treated at Beaumont Children’s. These stories will include children like Lexi who manages her Type 1 diabetes diagnosis every day, Desmond who learned to walk again after a tumor was removed from his spinal cord and Braylen who found his voice after intensive speech therapy.
Radiothon listeners can become a Miracle Maker with a $20 monthly donation. This donation can be made automatically by credit card or through a monthly invoice to pay by check. For the same cost as a few cups of coffee, listeners can help save a child’s life by calling 877-335-KIDS (5437) or by texting WOMCKIDS to 51555. For more information, visit Beaumont.org/radiothon.

New to the radiothon will be the addition of The Red Tie Hour hosted by Annette and Jack Aronson. During the last hour of the event, 5pm - 6 pm, proceeds will specifically fund the services of Beaumont’s Center for Exceptional Families (CEF) in Dearborn. CEF is supported by CMN donations. The hour will feature generous donors, matching gifts and special guests. There will also be an online auction with unique items, virtual experiences, and holiday gift giving packages. The auction will open Nov. 6, https://RedTie2020.givesmart.com
Thanks to the generosity of countless individuals and corporate partners, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals support the medical and developmental needs of more than 200,000 infants, children and teens each year through Beaumont Children’s. Donations help to purchase lifesaving medical equipment, fund research, support community education and ensure no child is ever turned away regardless of the ability to pay.
