3 Shot In West Bloomfield Wednesday Morning
West Bloomfield Police said three people were shot early Wednesday morning and one person died.
WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI — The West Bloomfield Police Department is investigating after three people were shot and one person killed in the 6000 block of Chase Court early Wednesday morning.
Police said they received a 911 call around 1:12 a.m. from a person living in the 6000 block of Chase Court saying he heard multiple gunshots outside his home.
A second 911 call came in shortly after from another area home owner who had been shot multiple times and believed he had shot someone, police said. A third 911 call came in reporting that a dark colored Dodge Charger was seen leaving the area of Chase Court, police said.

When officers arrived to the second caller's home they found the him with multiple gunshot wounds, police said. The homeowner was taken to a local hospital, police said, while another person was found shot and killed inside the home.
Around 1:25 a.m., Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield police vehicles found a Dodge Charger matching the description of the one seen leaving Chase Court in the area of 14 Mile and Drake, police said. The officers said they pulled the vehicle over and the driver, a 47-year-old man, was detained by police. The man had a gunshot wound in the stomach was taken to a local hospital, police said. A handgun was found inside the vehicle, police said.

Police aid they are seeking search warrants and are continuing to investigate.
