What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I am the most experienced candidate. In times like we are facing today, experience and understanding how to access resources is critically important.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have been elected as the Vice Chairwoman of the Commission because of my leadership skills and experience. I have lead efforts to rebuild our local economy by helping to secure funding to help businesses. In addition, I have started a Women's Commission in our County to benefit families, led efforts to keep our drinking and recreational waters safe and put more money into our roads.

What steps should state government take to bolster economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic for local businesses?
The state needs to fund programs that will help businesses recover from their enormous losses due to the Pandemic. Also, communities are looking for the states leadership to help all schools reopen safely.

How will you address the calls for racial justice and police reform?
I have spoken with my local law enforcement officers and our Oakland County Sheriff to look at ways to strengthen community relationships between law enforcement and residents. I plan to continue discussing ways to reform practices that unfairly target people and see them implemented.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:
I am committed to help our communities recover from this Pandemic. This includes expanding our County Health Department to become more of a community based health center for all residents. I will also continue my efforts to secure safe drinking and recreational water in all communities. In addition. I am committed to find and support the resources to help our growing senior population lead independent and productive lives.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Never before has experienced leadership been so important. I've worked hard to understand the needs of residents and am very active and accessible in the communities I represent. I have used my experience to help residents access vital services during this Pandemic. I have been a strong advocate to dispense Federal and State money to help our schools reopen safely and get our businesses operating again. I have voted to give financial support to our non-profits, schools, libraries, senior centers and our most vulnerable residents. I am proud of the work I have done over my tenure and have much more to do!
