GWBHS COVID-19 Impact Stories Collection Project

Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society is asking for stories from the local community on how the pandemic has impacted their lives.

Part of our mission at Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society is to collect and preserve the history of the four communities we serve. That history is made by you. Your stories. Your challenges. Your experiences.

This is what connects us and binds us together as a community, especially during trying times like these. For this reason, Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society is asking for the community to share their stories. Community members, tell us how your life or business has been impacted by COVID-19 and how you have dealt with being quarantined. How has the situation impacted you on a community level? On a global level?

Even though we are all experiencing quarantine and isolation, the impact it has had on our lives is far from the same, especially for the Class of 2020. Graduation is something everyone works so hard for, so to not have the opportunity to walk across that stage is heartbreaking. Many other special events like proms, all night parties, the last day of high school or college are lost as well. So, Class of 2020, we want to hear from you too. Tell us how your senior year has been impacted by COVID-19 and how you have dealt with being quarantined. Have you done anything special to commemorate your graduation?
