The West Bloomfield Township Police Department Facebook post on Jasper is one of our favorite things on social media this week. What a shot. It screams — er, barks — that Jasper is out there to serve and protect.

Facebook users agreed.

Others noted Jasper’s great looks and agility, while Donna Sidelko noted the “awesome pic,” but admitted she “wouldn’t want to tangle” with Jasper.

“We love caring for Jasper when he comes to Union Lake Vet hospital,” wrote Erica Gebstadt Hawker. “Thank you Jasper for your service.”
