The Impact of Isaiah: Interpretation and Influence of Isaiah 1-39
An 8-week class sponsored by Pine Hill Congregational Church will appreciate the indebtedness of biblical faith to the prophet Isaiah's work
Isaiah 1-39, attributed to the 8th century BCE prophet, Isaiah of Jerusalem, has inspired the faith of Judaism and Christianity, even being called the "fifth Gospel" by some. An eight-week class will bring the importance of the prophet and the book into perspective during the seasons when First Isaiah is typically read in worship settings. The first two sessions will occur on Tuesdays, December 8 and 15, 2020, from 4:00-5:30 pm, via Zoom and sponsored by the Pine Hill Congregational Church. The instructor is the Rev.
