Learn How to Ice Fish at Catch-and-Release Program
Kids will make their own fishing poles with sticks and line, then head to the lake to fish.

WEST BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI – A program next month will teach kids ages 6 and up how to ice fish, even if they don’t have the required gear.
A West Bloomfield Parks & Recreation Commission naturalist will lead the program from 4:45-6 p.m on Wednesday, Feb. 10, at Bloomer Park. After a review of equipment, supplies and safety rules, participants will be given bait to put on fishing poles they make themselves with sticks and fishing line.
