Monument Dedicated and More This Week in West Bloomfield Township
See the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier monument near Town Hall Monday at 9 a.m.

Veterans Day week starts in West Bloomfield Township today with the unveiling of a monument to fallen soldiers at the Civic Center.Â
Here's information about that event and other activities on the Patch calendar:
1. Monument dedication
Township officials and the Macon-Thomas Chapter Tuskegee Airmen will dedicate the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier monument at 9 a.m. Monday, near Town Hall on Walnut Lake Road. Held at the West Bloomfield Township Library on Tuesday, 7 p.m., this free program is open to parents and teens, sponsored by the Greater West Bloomfield Community Coalition and Maplegrove Community education.Â3. Super Singalong
Stop by the library on Wednesday, 7 p.m., grab a banjo, a tambourine or other musical instrument and join the West Bloomfield Township Public Library Band. Open to all ages; no registration is required.4. Jewish Book FairÂ
The book fair continues through Sunday at the Jewish Community Center, 6600 W. Maple. Entertainer and author Michael Feinstein closes out the event at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.
