'Purple Out' for 'Battle of the Bloomfields' Thursday
The basketball game between West Bloomfield Lakers and Bloomfield is the first "purple out" for both varsity teams.

WEST BLOOMFIELD, MI – When the West Bloomfield Lakers take on the Bloomfield HIlls Black Hawks at 7 p.m. at West Bloomfield, be sure to wear purple.

T-Shirts are for sale in a fundraising effort for Relay For Life of West Bloomfield. If you can’t make it to the game, listen to it live on 89.3 WBLD LAKES FM.
The Bloomfield Hills and West Bloomfield radio stations are joining together for the broadcast,which begins at 6 p.m. The game will be available on three stations! WBFH 88.1 The Biff (Bloomfield Hills High School) WAHS 89.5 (Avondale High School) and 89.3 WBLD (West Bloomfield High School).

George Moore and Dave Scott will be on air representing WBLD and Foster Stubbs, a senior at Bloomfield Hills, will be doing play by play and representing WBFH.
