Thieves Injure Elderly West Bloomfield Woman; Police Seek Suspects

Two men took a diamond ring from the woman as she got out of her car Monday in the 3000 block of Spanish Oaks Drive.

A West Bloomfield Township woman is recovering from injuries she received when she was attacked Monday by two men who took a diamond ring from her finger. 

According to township police, the woman was accosted as she got out of her vehicle in the 3000 block of Spanish Oaks Drive at around 12:10 p.m. The woman believes she saw one of the suspects before the robbery, at a table next to her at the Village Palace Restaurant on Orchard Lake Road.

Police said the woman was treated at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital for injuries to her hand.  

The men are described as 30-40 years of age, 200-250 pounds, 5'10"-6' tall, with olive or darker colored skin. One of the men was clean shaven with short. brown hair and was wearing a dark colored knit hat. Both may be Arabic speaking.
