West Bloomfield Educational Foundation Fundraising Drive Underway

Last year, the West Bloomfield Educational Foundation (WBEF) raised more than $30,000 to support academics, arts and athletics in West Bloomfield Public Schools. 

This year, the organization hopes to surpass that amount during a fundraising drive that is currently underway. 

Established in 2002, in response to inadequate state schools funding, the Foundation has supported the purchase of textbooks, teaching supplies, instruments and technology; funded an anti-bullying campaign and the FIRST Robotics Program at West Bloomfield High School; and awarded $150,000 in grants to classroom teachers for innovative projects.
