West Bloomfield, MI On Wednesday, December 11, West Bloomfield High School DECA held a fundraiser to help raise money to reduce student travel expenses to the DECA state and International competition to be held this April in Nashville, Tennessee. Olga’s located at the Shops of Old Orchard generously donated proceeds from purchases made throughout the day with the WBHS DECA event flyer. The fundraiser was a success and an important step in West Bloomfield High School DECA’s journey towards fundraising for competitions throughout the year.

In addition to effectively raising funds for upcoming competitions, West Bloomfield High School DECA members learned valuable lessons about planning and executing a successful fundraiser.

“It was great to see so many of the students from our high school and community come out to support our program,” said Ayushi Uppal, West Bloomfield High School DECA President who helped plan the fundraiser with Olga’s.
