West Bloomfield Step Team Shows Off During Winter Pep Rally

West Bloomfield High School's African American Awareness group shows off their moves during a recent pep rally.

West Bloomfield High School students were on their feet at a recent winter pep rally, as the school's African American Awareness group took to the floor with a high-energy step routine.

Step-dancing, or stepping, is a kind of percussive dance in which the entire body is used to produce rhythms through foot stomps, spoken word and clapping.

The step team at West Bloomfield is part of the school's African American Awareness club.
