What's Open, Closed Thanksgiving Day in West Bloomfield

If you're staying in town this Thanksgiving, here are a few things we thought you should know: 

Grocery stores/pharmacies

Run out of cranberries during your Thanksgiving dinner? Here's what will be open Thanksgiving Day:

• Whole Foods Market, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Hiller's Market, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Busch's Fresh Food Market, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. 
• Kroger, 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Pharmacy: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
• CVS, 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Pharmacy: closed.
• Walgreens, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Pharmacy: closed.
• Plum Market, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

Around town

Town Hall will be closed Thursday and Friday, reopening at 8 a.m. Monday. If you need non-emergency help, call the West Bloomfield Police Department at 248-975-9200. But if that deep fried turkey experiment goes south, dial 911.

The U.S. Postal Service branch at 6725 Daly Rd. will not be open Thanksgiving Day, nor will there be any mail delivery or pickup. The post office will be open Friday during normal business hours, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m.

Trash pick-up on Thursday and Friday will be delayed one day. 

Both the West Bloomfield Township Main Library and West Acres branch will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 9 a.m. Friday.
