The gap between individuals who are looking to lose weight and those who are actively trying to lose weight is fairly large. Although this gap has decreased to about 26%, which is lower than it was in 2002, this is still a huge gap, according to the yearly Gallop Health and Healthcare survey. Individuals have the goal to lose their excess weight but they are in no way working towards it. For whatever the reason may be, these statistics need to change.
Getting a plan in place is the first step to working towards your weight goals. Nothing drastic, baby steps at first will help you to ease into a healthier lifestyle.
