Lakeland Wrestlers Bring Home Medals from Oakland County Tourney

Three Lakeland varsity wrestlers medaled in the Oakland County two-day tournament in Oxford Dec. 20-21.

Forty-two schools participated in the tournament. Medaling for Lakeland were:

  • Freshman Nolan Klapec, second place in the 103-pound weight class.
  • Junior Andy Bovay, third place in the 171-weight class.
  • Junior and team captain William Jacobs, fourth place in the 160-pound weight class.

Lakeland placed 14th overall in team standings.
