State Rep. Jim Runestad of White Lake is partnering with the attorney general's office to host a consumer education event in Milford.

State Rep. Jim Runestad of White Lake is partnering with the Michigan attorney general’s office to host a consumer education event on Monday, April 16.
This month’s presentation will feature information on how to avoid identity theft and what should be done in the event of a stolen identity.
“This is a great opportunity to learn about the evolving criminal landscape of identity theft,” Rep. Runestad said. “Consumers deserve the necessary tools to identify and protect themselves against identity fraud.”
