Man Claiming to Have HIV Arrested After Allegedly Forcing Teen to Kiss Him

A man who allegedly approached a Wyandotte 15-year-old in Bishop Park and forced her to kiss him twice.

A man who claimed he had several communicable diseases, including HIV, allegedly forced a Wyandotte teen to kiss him after approaching her at Bishop Park, police said.

Kevin Sketowe, 44, of Southgate, has been arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery, WXYZ-TV reports.

Police said Sketowe asked the 15-year-old if she wanted to “party.” She reportedly was afraid, but agreed to walk with the man out of fear. He is accused of forcing his tongue into her mouth twice. She escaped and called police when he went into a store to buy beer, according to the report.

It’s unclear if Sketowe has HIV, Hepatitis C and tuberculosis, as he reportedly claimed to police after his arrest. He was highly intoxicated at the time, police said.
