Merrill Lynch wealth management advisor Leo Stevenson named by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Top 250 Wealth Advisors.

Merrill Lynch financial advisor Leo Stevenson was recently recognized by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Top 250 Wealth Advisors.

Leo is a managing director, wealth management in his Wyandotte office, managing $550 million in assets. He has trained more than 500 Merrill Lynch financial advisors across the U.S. on practice management. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Leo was with Molson Brewery, starting in the accounting department and concluding as Vice President of International Marketing.

The Forbes list weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices of the advisors and their approach to working with clients.

Leo has also been named to Barron’s list of Top 1,200 Advisors for four consecutive years beginning in 2014.

Leo resides in Grosse Ile and is active in local community activities including assisting the opening of a soup kitchen. He is past director of the local Salvation Army; is finance committee member of his local parish; and a member of the Wyandotte Downtown Development Authority.
