Seller Willing to Swap House for iPhone 6
Seller so motivated he was "willing to take anything," real estate agent said, maybe even (gasp) "an Android."

After WJBK, Channel 2, aired its report about a house for sale on Detroit’s east side for the price of technology, the homeowner has accepted a cash offer. (Screenshot: WJBK video)

The owner of a dilapidated house in one of the east side Detroit neighborhoods hit hardest during the Great Recession may have enough cash now to buy Apple’s iPhone 6, a prize he was willing to accept in lieu of cash for the property, WJBK, Channel 2, reports.
The property owner, who is currently overseas, originally bought the three-bedroom brick Colonial at Britain and Laing for $41,000, but was willing to sell it for a fraction of the purchase price.

Even at $5,000, the property languished on the real estate market, so the seller dropped the price to $3,000 and, finally, the price of technology.
No takers? How about a 32-gigabyte iPad?
Still no?
He was a motivated seller, real estate agent Larry Else told the TV station.

“He might be willing to take anything – maybe even an Android,”
The man apparently accepted a cash offer after the TV station aired its report earlier this week.
Some of the neighbors in the area said the house, which has been targeted by scrappers, were skeptical that the house can be rehabilitated.
The buyer, whoever it was, will have to pay $6,000 in back taxes.
