Third Friday Cooks Up BBQ Ribs Throwdown
There's still time to enter: applications for the event are due by May 15.
Are your ribs hot stuff? Then enter the Mayor Joe Peterson BBQ Ribs Throwdown.
The fourth annual barbecue contest takes place downtown May 17 from 5-9 p.m. as part of the Wyandotte Business Association’s Third Friday celebration.

There’s still time to enter the contest. The application and $50 fee to enter the contest is due by May 15. Applications can be downloaded here, and they can be dropped off at Fantasy Travel (93 Oak St.).
Trophies and cash prizes are awarded to the top three finishers.
