UPDATED: Weather Conditions Close Wyandotte Public Schools

Wyandotte Public Schools have canceled classes Monday due to weather conditions, according to WXYZ.

Wyandotte canceled classes because of "concerns about ice on the sidewalks and students walking to school," the district said in a text message.

The district joins other area schools that closed following a winter weather advisory that began around 7 p.m. Sunday in Wayne County.
