Wyandotte Company Urges Residents to Conserve Energy and Money
CRESIT Energy wants local residents to save money and understand the importance of energy conservation.

CRESIT Energy offers residents an alternative to traditional energy companies with a product line that includes solar panels, energy efficient LED lighting and new heating.
To increase awareness of the importance of and financial benefits of energy conservation, owner Robert Kulik say the proof is in his own company’s energy bills. After solar panels were installed and other steps were taken to increase energy efficiency, the bill went dropped to $60 a month, down from $700, The News-Herald reports.
“It’s easily done, but everyone’s afraid of the price,” Kulik said.

He understands that people looking into installing more energy efficient fixtures need reassurance they’ll see a return on their investment in a reasonable amount of time.
Kulik says people who decide to switch over to LED lighting could see a return on their investment in just a year.

CRESIT Energy has installed energy conservation products at multiple Downriver businesses, as well as the Southgate Veterans Memorial Library and the Southgate Police Department.
“It’s based on economics,” Kulik said. “What can we do to get by longer and cheaper? If it means putting in a light bulb and solar panel, I’m for it.”
