0 Coronavirus Deaths Reported In MN Monday
Minnesota's vaccination efforts appear to have slowed the surge in cases from earlier in April.

MINNESOTA — There were zero coronavirus deaths and just under 1,200 new cases reported in Minnesota Monday. Recent COVID-19 data shows cases falling after signs of another surge in early April.
More than 2,300 COVID cases were reported on April 5. The state's vaccination efforts helped "blunt" that surge, reports Minnpost.
More than 2.4 million Minnesotans — or 55.8 percent of the state — have received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine, according to the latest data from the Minnesota Department of Health.
