132K Minnesotans Must Renew ID's, Driver’s Licenses By March 31

Any Minnesotan who received an extension due to the coronavirus pandemic must renew by the March 31 deadline.

MINNESOTA — The remaining 132,000 residents who received coronavirus pandemic-related driver’s license and ID card extensions have just one week to renew their credentials. If your card is expiring, you should have received a letter from the state government.

The letter looks like this and notes that anyone with an extension must renew by the March 31 deadline. It is illegal to drive with an expired license in Minnesota.
