2 MN Companies Among Top 100 Best Employers In U.S.: Forbes

MINNESOTA — The Mayo Clinic ranks among the very top of the best employers in the country, according to the annual list from Forbes Magazine.

The list for 2021 — which looks at the best large employers in the country — was released in February. Forbes noted the enormous toll the coronavirus pandemic took on the U.S. economy and many of the top employers on the list are universities and health care providers.

The top employer on Forbes’ list — The University of Alabama at Birmingham — was recognized for protecting its employees during the pandemic, by providing them ample personal protective equipment as well as other resources.

Forbes partnered with Statista to create the rankings of the 500 best large employers in the U.S.

Other Minnesota companies that ranked among the top 100 are:

• General Mills (No. 99)
