2 Twin Cities Pop Radio Stations Will Switch To Christian Music

The Minneapolis-St. Paul metro will soon have three different modern Christian music radio stations.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Two radio stations in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area will transition from pop music to modern Christian music in April. Go 95.3 and 96.3 FM were recently sold by the Pohlad family to Educational Media Foundation (EMF) Broadcasting.

Since December, when staff were laid off, the two stations have featured no DJs.

The two new stations will compete with KTIS 98.5 FM, the metro's longtime Christian music station.

"Our goal is to help people grow in faith and point more people to Jesus, and we know EMF shares that goal," KTIS station manager Dave St. John told the Star Tribune.

"The more people impacted by our ministries the better."
