Gov. Walz, Ex-Gov. Pawlenty To Get Coronavirus Vaccine Together

The current Democratic governor of Minnesota and the former Republican governor will get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine side-by-side Tuesday.

MINNESOTA — Gov. Tim Walz and former Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty Tuesday will receive the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine side-by-side, celebrating the first day that the vaccine is available to all Minnesotans 16 and older.

The event will take place at 2 p.m. Watch it live on the governor's Youtube channel.

Starting Tuesday, at the direction of Walz's office, every Minnesota who is 16 and older is eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine.
