Jason Lewis Quarantines Again After Potential COVID-19 Exposure

Jason Lewis was in contact with someone who later tested positive for coronavirus, his campaign said Wednesday.

MINNESOTA — Republican Senate candidate Jason Lewis is self-quarantining for the second time this month after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

"This morning, an individual who was in contact with Congressman Lewis on Monday tested positive for COVID-19," Jason Lewis for Senate Communications Director Christine Snell said in a statement emailed to Patch.

"In accordance with CDC guidelines, Congressman Lewis has begun the quarantine process and will be getting tested again. Congressman Lewis is currently feeling fine and displaying no symptoms. All campaign staffers who were in contact with Congressman Lewis since Monday are also self-quarantining and will be tested."
