Minivan Collides With Semi In Dense Fog Thursday
The crash happened in central Minnesota during a fog advisory.

STERNS COUNTY, MN — Dense fog is believed to have been a factor in a collision between a minivan and a semi Thursday morning. Just after 5 a.m. the Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a call of a car crash in Fairhaven Township.
Deputies at the scene found a semi-truck with an empty trailer in the ditch of County Road 7, facing northbound with front-end damage. Also in the ditch was a Dodge Caravan that was struck on its right side with extensive damage.
Devaughn Maranell, 60, of Hutchinson was traveling northbound on County Road 7 in a semi when the driver of the minivan, Matthew McNamara, 43, of Cold Spring was crossing the intersection traveling eastbound on County Road 146.
