May will start off hot in the Twin Cities metro area.

TWIN CITIES, MN — May will start off hot Saturday before chances for rain move in Sunday. "Pleasant spring conditions are expected through Saturday with a fair amount of sun," notes the National Weather Service.
"Very warm air will move in Saturday with highs in the 80s. Showers are likely Sunday, with a few thunderstorms possible from southern Minnesota into west central Wisconsin."
