MN 'Breakthrough' Cases Are Tiny Fraction Of Vaccinated People
About one-tenth of one percent of people who have been fully vaccinated in Minnesota have contracted the coronavirus.

MINNESOTA — Eighty-nine Minnesotans have come down with the coronavirus after becoming fully vaccinated. That is a small fraction of the roughly 800,000 Minnesotans inoculated against the virus.
Breakthrough cases represent one-tenth of one percent of people who have been fully vaccinated in the state, Minnesota infectious disease director Kris Ehresmann told the Star Tribune.
In other words, one in more than 9,000 fully vaccinated people have contracted the virus. That demonstrates the vaccine's effectiveness, according to Ehresmann.
