MINNESOTA — The vaccine rollout in Minnesota, as with much of the country, has faced its fair share of hurdles that have left residents feeling frustrated.

Still, more and more people are getting shots daily and the state has been averaging giving about 25,421.4 shots per day on average, according to the Minnesota Department of Health. MPR reported that in order to get 80 percent of adults vaccinated by this summer, Minnesota would have to up their daily shots by 40,000 to 50,000.

The vaccine is being administered at state run mass no-cost community sites at Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center, Minneapolis Convention Center, and Mayo Civic Center, as well as at smaller countywide sites. Pharmacies are also beginning to vaccinate eligible residents.
