MN Weather: Possible Fire Concerns Thursday, Showers Friday

MINNESOTA — Thursday will see dry air causing possible fire conditions in Minnesota. Friday will bring cooler weather and good chances for rain.

"Elevated fire weather conditions continue this afternoon and evening as very dry air remains in place," says the National Weather Service. "Rain chances return late tonight and Friday, and bring an end to the fire weather concerns."

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 72. South southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Mostly clear, with a low around 48. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 68. South wind 5 to 15 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. Southeast wind around 5 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers before 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. South southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
