Photos: People Protest Minnesota Coronavirus Restrictions
Protesters gathered Saturday to rally against Gov. Tim Walz's coronavirus restrictions and also the state's election results.
SAINT PAUL, MN — Authorities say several dozen people gathered outside of the Governor's Residence on Summit Avenue Saturday to protest Gov. Tim Walz's coronavirus restrictions and the results of the election.
Counter-protests also arrived at the scene.
St. Paul police said the various groups were mostly peaceful, but there was at least one "altercation" on Summit Avenue. Two people were cited for disorderly conduct. There were no serious injuries, police said.

However, several tires were slashed on Chatsworth Street between Summit Avenue and Grand Avenue. Police say they are investigating the vandalism.
