St. Cloud Bank Robbery Turns Into Hostage Situation: Reports

ST. CLOUD, MN — A bank robbery turned into a hostage situation Thursday in St. Cloud, according to several media reports. Multiple hostages were taken at a local Wells Fargo branch in the city, according to police.

"This incident is active and ongoing," police told the Star Tribune. "We do not have any reported injuries at this time."

Authorities are asking people to avoid the area.
