Eagan 'Wow!' House: A Gorgeous Open Concept Model In The Woodlands

We loved the family room here, as well as the partial privacy coverage from the trees in the sloping backyard. Photos within.

EAGAN, MN — This 1996 house in The Woodlands has some of the finest natural views in the neighborhood. The two-story windows in the family room look out onto a big wooded backyard; the upper-level porch stands above a lower-level walkout patio. The partial tree coverage and sloping property allow for some additional privacy in this suburban community on a cul-de-sac.

Most everything in this house is white with white carpeting, with the exception of some light wood trim throughout and darker wood floors in the kitchen and office areas on the main floor. The office itself is set back from the rest of the main floor through a hallway and a set of French doors, which is a boon for anyone trying to get some work done while the rest of the house bustles. The rear exit lets you stretch your legs during work breaks.

We liked the bay windows and other space-expanding features, such as the curving doorways leading to the porch and patio. The house has five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms over 4,000 square feet of floor area, with a gas fireplace in the family room.
