An Eden Prairie man has been charged with felony assault after allegedly stabbing a woman with a pair of child scissors.
Jama Ahmed Muse, 31, faces between 1-7 years if convicted of second degree assault, a felony.
Police say the victim was treated for bruises on her face and five stab wounds on her face, elbow and neck after the June 20 incident.
Muse has a prior conviction for second degree assault and for possession of a dangerous weapon in a courthouse.
