Westgate Drive Pedestrian Crossing

Beginning June 1, Hennepin County starts construction on a project making pedestrian improvements along Eden Prairie Road at Westgate Drive. This includes sidewalk reconstruction and a pedestrian flashing beacon.

Technology Drive Lighting Project

Xcel Energy is installing street lights along Technology Drive between Prairie Center Drive and Flying Cloud Drive in June.

SWLRT Bridge Work

Highway 212 between I-494 and Highway 62 is closed for bridge beam setting near Shady Oak Road during the following times:

Westbound: 7 p.m. Friday, June 11, until 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 15

Eastbound: 3 p.m. Saturday, June 12, until 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 15

Shady Oak Road will be accessible from 212 eastbound off ramps.

I-494 Overnight Closures Near Flying Cloud Drive

SWLRT construction crews are completing roadway bridge work on I-494 near Flying Cloud Drive. I-494 is closed during the following times:

Wednesday, June 2: one westbound lane from 10 p.m.–5 a.m.

Thursday, June 3: all eastbound lanes from 10 p.m.–5 a.m.

Westbound traffic will follow Highway 169 to Highway 62 or Highway 212 for local access. Eastbound traffic will follow Highway 212 and Highway 62 to Highway 169.
