Senior Center Reopens Monday

Senior Center staff members look forward to seeing members of the community in person when they are ready to return to the Senior Center.

When you do return, remember:

  • Vaccines are not required to participate
  • Masks are not required in City buildings
  • No need to register other than woodshop and garden party
  • Bring your own beverages for now

SWLRT Tours

Beginning June 12, Southwest LRT staff invite you to tour project construction areas. The tours provide an opportunity to see some of the elements being built as part of the 14.5-mile LRT corridor. The tours will last approximately one hour, are weather dependent, and each tour is limited to 15 people. Registration is required and hardhats will be provided as well as other personal protective wear. Click here to view dates, tour locations and register.

Infrastructure Projects Updates

Throughout the summer there will be multiple ongoing infrastructure projects, some of which will require a reduction in lanes or road closures. See a list of current and upcoming infrastructure projects in Eden Prairie at edenprairie.org/InfrastructureProjects.

Riley-Purgatory-Bluff Creek Watershed District Board

Watershed districts educate and engage residents, and the work they undertake benefits the quality and quantity of water in local, as well as downstream watersheds and communities. Help protect and improve water resources by applying for a vacancy on the Riley-Purgatory-Bluff Creek Watershed District Board at hennepin.us/AdvisoryBoards by Monday, June 21.

Twin Cities Telework Website

Commuter Services recently launched a new website where commuters and employers can find detailed resources about working from home, educational webinars and new materials that are responsive to evolving telework trends. This one-stop shop for telework resources will be frequently updated as new material is developed to address the ever-changing dynamics of telework. Learn more at tctelework.com.

Free Summer Entertainment

Entertainment at Staring Lake Amphitheatre kicks off Tuesday, June 15 with a KidStock performance by the WonderWeavers. The Starring at Staring concert series begins July 9, the Eden Prairie Players will perform "A Whole New World: Post-Pandemic Visions" June 25–27, and Movies in the Park are scheduled to begin Aug. 6.
