Eden Prairie Man Summonsed to Court for Child Porn

A court summons has been issued for a 46-year-old Eden Prairie man for posessing and disseminating child pornography.

Zechary Daniel DeCoursey is charged with two felony counts. He is not presently in custody.

In November of 2010, officers in Minneapolis began an undercover operation designed to locate people downloading and offering to disseminate child pornography from the internet. A search of IP addresses revealed a computer in Eden Prairie was involved in distribution of pornographic work involving minors.

An investigation of the IP address placed it in the home of DeCoursey. The officers were able to download a video from the computer at DeCoursey's home. Officers found 100 notable files from the computer, including 22 images that depict known children victims previously submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Police say DeCoursey admitted to using Limewire to search for and download child porn.
