Eden Prairie Back 2 School Ice Cream Social

With the new school year right around the corner, School of Rock Eden Prairie and Project 52 Dance Companyhave joined together to host a free Back 2 School Ice Cream Social for the Eden Prairie community. School of Rock students will be rockin’ the Staring Lake Amphitheater and P52 Dance Company will be teaching everyone how to do the latest dance moves that will be all the rage at school dances this year.

In addition to the on-stage entertainment, kids can win prizes at the Single Person Bucket Tug-O-War and Solo Cup Challenges. For kids 5 and under, there will be a “Big Dig” where they can dig in sand boxes for prizes. The less competitive will enjoy playing Giant Jenga and Connect 4 and everyone can commemorate the end of Summer 2017 with photos in the on-site Photo Booth.

Free ice cream treats will be served.

The Back2School Ice Cream Social is a great way for us to share some fun and meet new friends as everyone heads into a new season of hard work!" said Maria Silva, Owner/Teacher at P52.

School of Rock Eden Prairie owner, Stacey Marmolejo, added, “This school year will represent our 10 year anniversary in Eden Prairie. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than with a Back 2 School party for the entire Eden Prairie community. For those interested in playing music, we’ll have an information table about all our programs, ranging from our Rookies programs starting at age 5 through our Summer Tour program for the most advanced teen musicians to perform across the country… and everything in between.”
