Eden Prairie Parks And Recreation Cancels Summer Youth Program

Greetings from the Eden Prairie Parks and Recreation Team!

Each year, we look forward to welcoming a talented staff of instructors and hundreds of children who spend the summer together building skills, trying new things and making lasting friendships at our programs. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, summer is looking a lot different for many of us this year. With our state in the midst of a health crisis, the half-day and full-day camps typically held at our park sites and at the Art Center, Outdoor Center and Community Center have been canceled, and many other summer programs like sports, swimming and skating lessons are on hold as well.

If you are registered for any camps that are canceled, you will receive a refund in the form of original payment — credit card refund or check — by the end of June. Please email us at Parks@edenprairie.org with questions about your refund.

We intend to build a new set of programs to be offered mid-July through late August if conditions are favorable. Because it is important to us to continue offering programming that both meets current health guidelines and provides your family with new and exciting opportunities, we would like to hear from you! To help us plan for possible new programs later this summer, please complete the following survey and tell us your thoughts by Friday, June 5.
