Students on Commissions

The City is now accepting Students on Commissions program applications for the 2021-2022 school year. The program is open to any high school junior or senior who lives in Eden Prairie.

The Students on Commissions program is a great way for students to contribute to their community in an official capacity, while gaining valuable insight about municipal government. Student commission member terms begin in September and end in May, with an expected time commitment of one evening meeting per month.

Quality of Life Survey Results

Every two years, the City conducts a Quality of Life Survey to gather opinions from a random sample of Eden Prairie households. This provides City leaders with a snapshot of how residents feel about living in this community to determine current and future needs.

The latest survey results show Eden Prairie residents continue to enjoy a high quality of life and rate most City services and characteristics higher than local and national benchmarks.

Survey results are available at edenprairie.org/QualityOfLife.

Rental Assistance Applications

If you have experienced hardship due to the pandemic and need assistance to help pay past-due rent or utility bills, you may be eligible for COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance. Applications are now being accepted for assistance at RentHelpMN.org.
