Women's Chorale 2013 Spring Tour

Northwestern College announces that the following students will be participating in the Northwestern College Women's Chorale 2013 Spring Tour.

Carly Ness, daugher of David & Judy Ness of Eden Prairie, MN, pursuing a degree in English, Writing . Ness is a 2011 graduate of Eden Prairie High School.

Natalie Reed, daugher of Mike & Patty Reed of Eden Prairie, MN, pursuing a degree in Communication Studies . Reed is a 2010 graduate of Homeschool.

• Thursday & Friday, April 25 & 26 in Rochester, Minnesota

Dean's List at Eckerd College

Claire Blackford, of Eden Prairie, MN, has been named to Eckerd College's Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester. The Dean's List is compiled following the fall and spring semesters and includes students who completed at least four courses with a grade point average of 3.75. Claire is majoring in International Business .

MN Student Makes the President's List

Adam Todd Schroeder of Eden Prairie (Hennepin County, MN) was named to the Miami University president's list.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2012-13 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

UW-Whitewater baseball team

Daniel Blasy, a sophomore undeclared major from Eden Prairie, Minn., has made the 2012-13 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater baseball team.

In the last thirteen seasons, the UW-Whitewater baseball team has won ten conference titles, making the program a strong contender in NCAA Div. III.

Dean's List at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

Lindsay Penzel of Eden Prairie has been named to the Dean's list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Fall 2012 semester. The dean's list recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below "C." Penzel studies Biology.

Luther President Richard Torgerson names James Thomsen to Board of Regents

Luther College President Richard Torgerson has announced the appointment of James Thomsen of Eden Prairie, Minn. to the Luther Board of Regents. Thomsen will assume his duties as a Luther Regent at the board's October meeting.

Dean's List at Concordia University, St. Paul

The students listed below have been named to Concordia University, St. Paul's Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester. Students with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are recognized for superior academic performance by being named to the Dean's List.
