Highway 101 Full Closure Begins May 6

Both directions of Highway 101 will close between Pioneer Trail and Lyman Boulevard as crews reconstruct the roadway.

Motorists near Chanhassen will encounter a full closure and detour both directions of Highway 101 at 6 a.m. Monday, May 6.

Both directions of Highway 101 will close between Pioneer Trail and Lyman Boulevard as crews reconstruct the roadway.

All lanes are scheduled to open by Nov. 15.

Motorists are advised to follow the signed detour using Pioneer Trail, Powers Boulevard and Lyman Boulevard.

I-394 Lane Closures

Also beginning May 6, motorists will encounter closures of the reversible section of the MnPASS lanes of I-394 between I-94 and Highway 100 as crews replace the protective gate arms. 

Access to the reversible section will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays. Evening, overnight or weekend closures may be needed. The project will be complete in mid July. 

The reversible section will remain open during major events in downtown Minneapolis and during the following times throughout the project:

•  Eastbound weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

•  Westbound weekdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

•  As needed for major events
