Highway 212 Resurfacing in Eden Prairie Begins Friday
Road/ramp closures and detours are planned for the next two weekends in Eden Prairie.

Motorists will encounter two weekend road closures and detours on Highway 212 between Highway 62 and I-494 as crews resurface the roadway.
At 8 p.m., Friday, July 12, westbound Hwy 212 between I-494 and Highway 62 in Eden Prairie will close. At the same day and time, the Shady Oak Road ramp and the Bryant Lake Drive ramp to westbound Hwy 212 also will close. The roadway and ramps will re-open by 5 a.m. on Monday, July 15.
During the closure of westbound Hwy 212, motorists will be detoured to Hwy 169 to westbound I-494 and back to Hwy 212. Â

Weather permitting, at 8 p.m., Friday, July 19, eastbound Hwy 212 between I-494 and Hwy 62 will close. At the same day and time, the Flying Cloud Drive ramp and the Shady Oak Road ramp to eastbound Hwy 212 also will close. The roadway and ramps will re-open by 5 a.m. Monday, July 22.
During the closure of eastbound Hwy 212, motorists will be detoured to eastbound I-494 to northbound Hwy 100 and to Hwy 62.

The project, which may require some temporary, off-peak lane restrictions, includes removing and resurfacing the roadway. The project will provide a smoother and safer roadway, reduced short-term maintenance costs and improved access along the 2.29 miles of busy roadway.
