Know any children who can't get enough of old airplanes? Never outgrew that phase yourself? Then head over to Air Expo 2013 this weekend!
Almost a dozen historic airplanes and 50 historic aviators will fly in to the Flying Cloud Airport on July 13 and 14. Star of the show will be a World War Two-vintage B-17 bomber and a similarly antique P-51 fighter, according to the Sun Current.
Spectators will be able to take flights in a variety of historic aircraft, take in aerobatic displays, and hear stories of heroism from a former Space Shuttle commander and some of the first female and African-American pilots in the US military during a Saturday night dinner.
